BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I saw Dr. Bo for pain in my neck and into my shoulders. Now not only is that pain gone but I sleep better than ever before, and I can't remember the last time I had a headache. My wife saw Dr. Jamie when she was pregnant and almost immediately began experiencing low back relief ... Now my infant son sees Dr. Jamie regularly and he is never sick and always happy and healthy. This team knows what they're doing! I'd recommend them for the whole family."
